Studio Analgesic Productions, known for the Anodyne duology, has released its new 3D adventure game Angeline Era on Nintendo Switch and other modern consoles for $24.99. Previously, the project had already received very positive reviews from players on Steam.
Mysterious World and Intuitive Battles
In Angeline Era, players explore a vast markerless open world where every level is hidden in plain sight. The story revolves around former soldier Tetsu Kinoshita and the angel Arcas Gemini, who are attempting to reach the angels' flagship across ruins, dangerous forests, and treacherous mountains.
Key features of the game include:
- "Bumpslash" Combat System: attack enemies simply by moving toward them without unnecessary buttons;
- Diverse Arsenal: combine classic attacks with ranged weapons, magic scales, and items from town shops;
- Flexible Length: playthrough takes an average of 15 to 20 hours of engaging exploration;
- Difficulty Settings: from an easy mode for beginners to true hardcore for veterans.
The game is now available on the Nintendo eShop digital store.
