The release of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen on Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled for October 9, 2026, but players can try out the game right now. The free app Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage has become available on the digital eShop store, allowing you to customize your hero in advance and prepare for the release.
Character Creation and New Options
In the creator, you can customize in detail the appearance of the main character (the Arisen), as well as the appearance and inclinations of your loyal companion — the main Pawn. All created data can be seamlessly transferred to the full version of the game.
- Ability to save up to 5 Arisen variants and up to 5 Pawns;
- Exclusive new hairstyles and tattoos that were not in the original version of the game;
- A quick start on release day without spending time customizing appearance.
Massive Dark Arisen Expansion
The Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen edition opens up the northern region of Norgan, new storylines, and 12 unique challenge dungeons for players, where they can find forgotten relics and gear of past Arisen.
