Overhatched: A Cooperative Party Game About a Dinosaur Farm in the Spirit of Overcooked

Overhatched has been announced — a cooperative party game about raising dinosaurs in the style of Overcooked, featuring local and online modes.

Chaos, Dinosaurs, and Teamwork

The idea of running a dinosaur breeding enterprise together with friends sounds fun yet risky. That is precisely the frantic experience promised by the new game Overhatched — a cooperative management project for 1–4 players. The team will have to incubate eggs, raise prehistoric creatures, and ship orders to customers on time, all while teetering on the brink of total catastrophe.

Complex Production Chains

The gameplay offers deeper mechanics than most traditional party games. Each dinosaur species requires its own raising approach:

  • Herbivores: require tending to crop plots and growing special crops;
  • Carnivores: require raising livestock and timely meat processing;
  • Piscivores: feed exclusively on freshly caught and prepared fish.

Each new species introduces additional logistical challenges, while the timer and a growing stream of customers leave no room for error. A forgotten T-rex feeding can ruin all the well-established work in seconds.

Diverse Locations and Local Co-op

The game's events will unfold in farmers' markets, city warehouses, and even remote islands. Factories are equipped with incubators, forklifts, garden beds, and delivery zones. Spatial organization will become a puzzle of its own, as resources are delivered on bulky pallets.

Overhatched will support both local and online co-op. The release date and target platforms have not yet been announced, but the game already looks like a promising option for Overcooked fans.
