Konami has announced the release of a free demo of the upcoming game Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse for the Nintendo Switch console. The project's full release is scheduled for October 15, 2026, giving players a great opportunity to test the new title in advance.
A welcome bonus for fans is that all progress and save data from the demo can be carried over to the full version of the game after its official release.
Features of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse:
- Dynamic combat system: the legendary whip has received expanded capabilities — it can now be used not only in battles, but also for free acrobatic movement across locations.
- Arcana system and bosses: fight against classic enemies, including Death, Medusa, and Carmilla, as well as new characters such as Joan of Arc. Defeated bosses are sealed into the tarot cards of the main protagonist, Rose, unlocking access to magical abilities and special actions.
- Flexible customization: the arsenal includes weapons from seven different categories and numerous relics with passive or active effects, allowing you to customize your own fighting style.
- Updated gothic atmosphere: the game combines the classic gloomy aesthetic of Castlevania with a modern visual style and well-designed maps.
The demo can be downloaded right now from the Nintendo eShop digital store.
