Hellish Pinball on Cartridges for Switch and Switch 2
Publisher and developer FLARB, together with studio WIZNWAR, have announced the physical release of the game XENOTILT: HOSTILE PINBALL ACTION. The physical media launch is planned for both the original Nintendo Switch and the next-generation Switch 2 platform.
The exact release date and the contents of the physical editions are currently not specified, but the publisher promises to share details in the near future. The game is already available digitally in the eShop, and owners of the Nintendo Switch version can upgrade to the Switch 2 version for free.
XENOTILT: HOSTILE PINBALL ACTION Features
XENOTILT is the direct spiritual successor to the cult hit DEMON’S TILT. The game combines classic pinball mechanics with bullet hell styling and dynamic sci-fi action:
- 3-tiered playfield: The action takes place on the derelict ship Samaritan, overrun by hostile lifeforms.
- Perk and turret system: Upgrades for weapons, defense, and score bonuses with the ability to destroy enemy projectiles.
- Multiball matrix: The ability to hold and launch up to nine balls simultaneously.
- Hardcore modes: Time-trial Crisis Mode and the unforgiving 1-ball Hardcore mode.
- Retro aesthetics: Detailed "Hi-Bit" graphics in the style of the 16/32-bit era and a soundtrack by composer EC2151.
