Publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Kyle Thompson have officially announced the release date for their new game Well Dweller, as well as confirmed that the fairytale Metroidvania will arrive not only on the original Switch, but also on the Nintendo Switch 2.
A Dark Fairytale for the New Generation
Well Dweller is a whimsical yet dark Metroidvania in a fairytale style. The project was first presented during the Indie World Showcase presentation, where the game was initially announced only for the first-generation console. However, the developers decided to expand the list of platforms and create a separate version for its more powerful successor.
