The Path to the Tau System Begins on October 15
The developers of the popular free-to-play action game Warframe, available on Nintendo Switch, have announced the launch of a major event called Epoch Operation: Taubound. The event will run from October 15 to November 17 and will mark an important step ahead of the release of the upcoming Warframe: Tau expansion.
Objectives and Unique Rewards
Players across the community will need to join forces to unlock a new Star Chart beyond the Origin System. The primary objective is to collect a resource called Moonflesh on Eris to power the Praghasa ship.
In exchange, players will be able to earn unique customization items:
- Contegorus armor set, inspired by Necramechs;
- Vacis Amp Skin;
- Sinister Dhampyre Syandana;
- Other exclusive cosmetic items.
The Epoch Operation: Taubound event is a one-time event and is available to all players who have completed the Vor’s Prize quest.
New Prologue in the Codex
In addition to the operation itself, a new prologue quest, Tau Prologue Quest, will appear in the Codex on October 15 and will remain permanently available even after the operation concludes. This quest will allow players to take control of their own Vessel for the first time, though accessing it requires completing the quests The Hex and The Old Peace.
