CyberStep, together with independent developer Aonimaru, has announced a new visual novel, Nara☆Koi〜Even ancient people want to fall in love〜, for the Nintendo Switch platform.
Romance across the centuries
This is an otome game with a rather unusual premise: the events unfold in modern Nara, but the protagonist will have to build romantic relationships with real historical figures of ancient Japan.
Among the characters and features of the project:
- The opportunity to fall in love with Prince Shotoku or the poet Otomo no Yakamochi;
- A genderbent version of the famous diplomat Ono no Imoko;
- Illustrations by artist Bakkinu;
- Scenario and development by indie creator Aonimaru.
Currently, there is no information regarding the exact release date or a Western localization of the game.
