The developers of Vampire Survivors have revealed new details about the upcoming Legacy of the Bloodmoon expansion, which will soon be released on the Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2 console. In a fresh video, the creators introduced players in more detail to Malice Bloodmoon — the ruthless leader of the clan.
According to the plot, in ancient times, Saint Baal'Thasar saw a vision of paradise illuminated by a bright red moon and founded the Order of the Red Moon. After his disappearance, the order splintered into sects, and today the Bloodmoon clan sets out in the footsteps of their founder to the mythical Red Moon Manor.
New characters
- Malice Bloodmoon — leads her followers in search of the order's lair, using them as cannon fodder.
- Calogero Bloodmoon — a brutal beast-like man with an insatiable bloodlust and a huge axe.
- Baal'Thasar — the founder of the Order of the Red Moon (or what is left of it).
- Ashtart — one of Baal's first followers, who transformed into a sinister entity.
- Sargon — an ancient king trapped in a hellish dimension due to his fear of death.
New content and weapons
The expansion will bring over 16 new weapons and their evolutions. Among them: Scarlet Needle (Malice's favorite attack), Incineration, Blacken Firmament, and the classic FireBall. In addition, players will be delighted with 8 new music tracks and a new XL level — Red Moon Manor, which, according to legends, hides the secret of immortality.
