UN:Me — New Details About Souls and Gameplay from Gamescom 2026

Shueisha Games revealed new details and gameplay features of the psychological adventure UN:Me at Gamescom 2026.

Publisher Shueisha Games Inc. shared fresh details and gameplay information regarding its upcoming game UN:Me during the Gamescom 2026 exhibition. This is a unique "soul sorting" adventure game set in an eerie yet enchanting world.

Four Souls in One Body

At the center of the plot is a young girl whose body houses four souls at once. Each of them has lost its memories, yet firmly believes it is the sole rightful owner of the body. Players will have to explore a surreal world, collect "Memory Fragments," and engage in dialogue with these entities to ultimately decide which soul will remain alive and which must be permanently erased.

Control over the girl's body constantly shifts in unpredictable ways. Each soul possesses its own psychological trauma and unique abilities, altering accessible locations, threats, and puzzle-solving approaches.

Details on the First Souls

The developers revealed the personality traits of two entities:

  • Soul I: Straightforward and extremely emotional, her speech corresponds to her young age, yet her mood fluctuates drastically.
  • Soul III: Thoughtful, reserved, and polite, yet simultaneously detached. She rarely looks the interlocutor in the eye and keeps her distance.

The setting for exploration will be an unusual hospital where nurses wear lifeless smiles and patients' heads have been transformed into flowers. Shueisha Games has also launched the game's official website, where fans can already formulate their own theories.
