Great news for fans of Japanese role-playing games: a free demo of Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 has become available on the Nintendo eShop digital store. The full release of the project is scheduled for September 17, 2026.
The demo allows players to complete the game's prologue in full. Moreover, all progress made and saved data can be seamlessly transferred to the full version of the game after its release.
New Video and Story Continuation
Along with the demo's release, the developers presented an opening animated video (opening movie) and a short promotional gameplay trailer. The story of the second chapter unfolds immediately after the dramatic events of the first part's finale: Estelle sets off on a grand journey across the continent in search of Joshua and confronts a threat from the mysterious Ouroboros society.
