Become the First Zombie and Save Humanity in an Unusual Way
Publisher Phoenixx Inc. has announced an unusual project called THE FIRST ZOMBIE — a "reverse" zombie game where, instead of destroying the undead, players must build their own horde of the dead to save humanity. The game's digital release is scheduled for Nintendo Switch in winter 2026.
The main protagonist is an ordinary guy who wakes up one morning as a zombie. However, instead of panicking, he sees this as an absolute life upgrade: now he never gets tired and is full of energy! Inspired by this idea, the protagonist decides to make all the residents of Tokyo happy by turning them into the undead.

- Build your own horde: Explore bustling city streets, bite humans and even animals, recruiting them to your ranks.
- Useful companions: Each converted ally possesses unique abilities that will help you progress through the city.
