Ahead of the upcoming release of the new installment in the cult franchise, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, which launches on October 15, 2026, on Nintendo Switch, the first score from the specialized press has appeared online.
Score from Famitsu
The trailblazer was the renowned Japanese publication Famitsu. Traditionally, four of the magazine's reviewers scored the game from 1 to 10 points:
- Critics' scores: 8 / 8 / 8 / 8
- Total score: 32 out of 40 points
This is a very solid result for the new Metroidvania action game. The review embargo is expected to lift soon for the rest of the world's critics.
What awaits players in Belmont’s Curse?
