Ahead of the start of the closed beta test, gameplay footage of The Duskbloods — an upcoming PvPvE action game by FromSoftware for the Nintendo Switch 2 platform — accidentally leaked online.
Accidental Leak and Dynamic Gameplay
The video clip was mistakenly published by the outlet 4Gamer, after which it was quickly picked up by users of the Bilibili platform. The video showcases the climactic final clash of the three top-scoring players in the match, fighting for first place on a building rooftop under a bloody moonlight.
Judging by the released footage, The Duskbloods features high dynamism and a wide arsenal of capabilities:
- high mobility: dashes, double jumps, and powerful aerial attacks;
- summoning AI-controlled allies, including wolves and unusual creatures on wooden carts;
- a temporary transformation mechanic similar to the shapeshifting abilities in Elden Ring — the player can transform into a velociraptor for a devastating grab.
After the battle concludes, the winner performs a ritual offering of a chalice to the moon in the final cutscene. The official closed beta testing of The Duskbloods begins on August 21.
