Ubisoft held a massive showcase of updates for the racing simulator The Crew Motorfest, revealing details of the game's Year 4 support and confirming the exact release date on the brand-new Nintendo Switch 2 console — October 8.
Free Island of Kauai and Focus on Off-Road
Season 11 kicks off on October 7, with the main new feature being the addition of an entire new island — Kauai. This expansion will be completely free for all players. The island was created specifically for off-road adventures: players can look forward to swamps, canyons, hidden tunnels, and unexplored trails.
- New Kauai Expeditions playlist: 8 unique events, exploration activities, and the Suzuki Jimny 2018 Rally Raid as a reward.
- Wildlife: Around 40 animal species will appear across the archipelago on land, in the water, and in the air.
- Winch System mechanic: Allows clearing debris, overcoming obstacles, and rescuing other vehicles from traps.
Crossover with Tomb Raider and Supercars
Among the premium content, a collaboration with Tomb Raider has been announced. In this story-driven playlist, players alongside Lara Croft will explore the ancient ruins of Niihau Island, solve puzzles, and gain access to 5 exclusive vehicles, including the Mercedes-AMG 6x6.
The game will also add the Bugatti Tourbillon super-hybrid, Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, and over 20 more new cars. Moving forward, in Season 12, the developers will focus on the Asian automotive industry, while Season 13 will introduce trucks and service vehicles.
