Chaos and Fun for the Whole Family
Publisher Outright Games, in collaboration with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, has shared fresh details and a gameplay video for the new family party game The Cat in the Hat: Rainy Day Mayhem. The project is based on Dr. Seuss's classic children's book "The Cat in the Hat", with the Nintendo Switch release scheduled for October 30, 2026.
In the new video, the developers demonstrated a minigame called "Hop to Avoid the Drop", where players must skillfully jump and avoid falling amidst the household chaos.
Game Features
- Favorite Characters: play as Sally, Johnny, Thing 1 and Thing 2, as well as Little Cat A.
- Local Multiplayer: compete or have fun together with friends up to four players on a single console, or play solo.
- Variety of Activities: 18 fun minigames, including catching runaway penguins, decorating giant cakes, and searching for the Cat in "Find the Cat" mode.
