Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and studio gameXcite have released Delta Chronicles 2, the third expansion for the survival space strategy game Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown. The new DLC is available for purchase separately or as part of the Expansion Pass.
New Missions and the Legendary Q
The expansion adapts five iconic U.S.S. Voyager crew storylines into new full-fledged Delta Quadrant missions. Players will face Q's family troubles in the episodes "Q and the Grey" and "Q2", venture into the dangerous Swarm space, deal with the Doctor's daydreams in an adaptation of "Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy", and take part in the conflict between the Kraylor and the Annari aboard the "Nightingale".
Key new features of the expansion include:
- Two new heroes to recruit to the ship's crew, including the omnipotent Q himself;
- "Q Logs" audio logs for sectors 2 through 12, voiced by actor John de Lancie;
- New equipment: two technologies and three NPC ships;
- New moral choices and alternative branching storylines.
Delta Chronicles 2 is the third of four planned DLCs. As a reminder, Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown combines space exploration, resource management, roguelike mechanics, and a flexible captain decision system that shapes the unique appearance of the starship and the crew's fate in every playthrough.
