As part of the 35th anniversary celebration of the legendary blue hedgehog, SEGA has announced two special physical collections for Nintendo Switch: Classic Sonic Collection and Modern Sonic Collection.
Classic Sonic Collection
This set is ideal for fans of classic 2D gameplay. The $49.99 bundle will include:
- Sonic Mania
- Sonic Origins
- Sonic Superstars
In addition to the game cartridge, the physical edition will feature a double-sided anniversary cover insert and an exclusive patch with the series' 35th anniversary logo.
Modern Sonic Collection
For fans of Sonic's 3D adventures, a separate $49.99 bundle has been prepared, which will include:
- Sonic Forces
- Sonic Colors Ultimate
- Sonic Frontiers
This edition will also come with a double-sided anniversary cover insert and a commemorative patch.
Release Date
According to retailer data, both collections will hit store shelves as early as October 20, 2026.
