Publisher Team17 and Swedish indie studio Wych Elm announced a great launch for their new game Silver Pines. In just one week following its release on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and other current platforms, the project's sales surpassed the 100,000-copy mark across all devices combined.
Atmospheric Horror in a Mysterious Town
In Silver Pines, players take on the role of private detective Red Walker. Waking up in the strange and seemingly abandoned town of Silver Pines, the protagonist must confront sinister mysteries while investigating the disappearance of musician Eddie Velvet.
Among the game's key features, the developers highlight:
- Deep investigation: detailed exploration of locations, searching for evidence, and uncovering the town's secrets.
- Classic survival horror: limited inventory and ammo scarcity force players to carefully weigh every step—whether to engage in combat or flee.
- Metroidvania elements: unlocking new tools and weapons grants access to previously unreachable corners of the town.
