SEGA Published Fresh Sales Figures for the Iconic Persona Series
Sega Sammy has presented a new financial report for 2026, paying special attention to the sales statistics of the popular JRPG series from Atlus — Persona. The franchise's games are currently actively featured on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles, as well as on other modern platforms.
The published statistics account for total sales of each game, including all ports, remasters, and spin-offs across all platforms:
- Persona 3 — 5 million copies
- Persona 4 — 4.7 million copies
- Persona 5 — 13 million copies
Sales Breakdown by Region
In addition to absolute figures, SEGA also revealed the regional sales breakdown for the Persona series, demonstrating the franchise's global popularity:
- North America: 40%
- Japan: 20%
- Europe: 20%
- Asia (excluding Japan): 20%
As seen, the Western market currently makes up the largest share of the Persona audience, and the release of series games on the Switch family of platforms has only solidified these impressive positions.
