Publisher room6 has announced the release of the cute action roguelike Reverie in the Moonlight on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles. The release of the fairytale adventure will take place on November 19, 2026.
Fighting Nightmares
The game tells the story of a little boy named Tete, whose dreams turn into nightmares every night due to an onslaught of creepy monsters. However, after meeting the mysterious Luna, the protagonist learns that his soft plush toys can come to life and protect him from danger.
Tete himself cannot fight and is forced to flee, so all the combat falls on the shoulders of his loyal plush protectors. The game features 40 types of toys with different roles: from melee fighters to snipers and healers.
Strategy, Items, and Wardrobe
Between night attacks, players will be able to spend their earned gold in the shop, expanding their toy collection or purchasing useful items, of which there are over 100 in the game.
