In honor of the 30th anniversary of the legendary shooter Quake, the award-winning studio MachineGames, in collaboration with id Software, has released a brand new free episode — Dawn of the Machine. This massive expansion continues the traditions of the team's acclaimed works, such as Dimension of the Machine and Dimension of the Past.
What awaits players?
According to the plot, the protagonist Ranger is trapped in a dimension of endless illusions. He is forced to relive brutal cycles of death over and over again, trying in vain to escape. However, hope appears — rumors of the mysterious Nightmare Machine. Players will have to fight their way through hordes of monsters to destroy it and break the time loop.
