A surreal journey into the depths of memory
Belgian independent studio Eye Blink Twice is working on its debut commercial project—the first-person psychological thriller Time To Wake Up. The game will soon be released on the Nintendo Switch console.
According to the plot, the player finds themselves trapped in a strange dream deep within the mind of protagonist Alan Malone. You will have to explore endless classrooms, dark corridors, and locker mazes, trying to find a mysterious book and avoid the gazes of creepy students.
Key features of Time To Wake Up:
- Blinking changes the world: your eyes are the key to salvation; blinking allows you to alter the surroundings, reset moving elements, and open new paths;
- Surreal madness: distorted corridors, dim libraries, and intricate school spaces create an oppressive atmosphere;
- Mysterious ally: an enigmatic voice not only helps restore memories, but also literally unlocks locked doors;
- Dangerous classmates: the watchful gazes of former students pose a threat, so time your movements and blink at the right moment.
The developers promise to announce the exact release date in the near future.
