A video capturing a clash between store visitors during the launch of an anniversary card collection has gone viral online. According to witnesses, one of the scalpers attacked a man and punched him in the face.
The situation became even more critical because a four-year-old girl standing nearby was injured during the fight. The attacker was promptly detained by law enforcement.
The hype around Pokémon TCG is getting out of control
Such incidents once again raise questions about safety and methods for combating scalpers:
- Scalpers buy up rare card sets in retail chains to resell them at inflated prices.
