Trainers in the Pokémon universe know no rest! Details for the upcoming Season 16 of Ranked Battles in Pokémon Legends: Z-A have been announced. The competition will run from August 27 to September 17, 2026.
Special Rules for Season 16
The main feature of this season will be a focus on Mega Evolutions: only Pokémon that possess a Mega Evolution form are eligible to participate, and among the items they can hold, only the corresponding Mega Stones are permitted.
Rank Rewards
Players climbing the ranked ladder will be able to obtain valuable evolution stones for their partners:
- Rank Y: Greninjite
- Rank X: Delphoxite
- Rank W: Chesnaughtite
- Rank V: Baxcalibrite
- Rank U: Sceptilite
- Rank T: Swampertite
- Rank S: Blazikenite
As a reminder, Pokémon Legends: Z-A takes place in Lumiose City, offering real-time battles and multiplayer competitions for players with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
