The Wild Area Global Event Returns
Niantic has announced the return of the large-scale event Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global, which will take place on November 14 and 15, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00 local time. Trainers from all over the world can look forward to the appearance of Steel- and Dragon-type Pokémon, Max Battles, Special Research, and major debuts.
Key Features and Bonuses
- Debut of Dynamax Dialga and Dynamax Palkia: The Legendary Pokémon will appear in Max Battles for the first time. Dynamax Dialga will be available on Saturday, November 14, and Dynamax Palkia on Sunday, November 15. Players will also have a chance to encounter their Shiny variations.
- Mighty Pokémon: The return of exceptionally strong opponents with high Attack, Defense, and HP stats. Using special GO Safari Balls will significantly increase the chances of successfully capturing them.
- Costumed Machamp: The Pokémon in a stylish modern jacket will appear in three-star raids throughout both days of the festival.
- Bonuses for all Trainers: A chance to encounter Mighty Pokémon on Routes, GO Safari Balls dropping from PokéStops, and an increased likelihood of receiving themed Field Research tasks. Paid ticket holders will additionally be able to attract Mighty Latias and Latios using Incense.
In addition to the global format, in-person events will take place from November 6 to 8 in Sendai (Japan) and Mexico City (Mexico).
