A new massive event has been announced in the popular mobile game Pokémon GO — Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day. The event will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Mega Staraptor Debut and New Mechanics
During the event, Mega Staraptor will make its debut in Super Mega Raids. Lucky trainers will have a chance to encounter a rare Shiny version of this Pokémon.
In addition, players will be able for the first time to raise Mega Staraptor's Mega Level to the maximum Super Max Level rank. This will unlock an additional Charged Attack during Mega Evolution — Brave Bird+.
Characteristics of the Brave Bird+ attack:
- Trainer Battles: 70 power and a three-stage decrease in the user's Defense;
- Raid Battles: 150 power.
