Armored Mewtwo has finally returned to Pokémon Go after a multi-year absence! This unique variant of the legendary Pokémon first appeared in 2019 as part of a promotion for the movie Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back - Evolution, and later briefly returned during the Pokémon Day celebration in 2020. Since then, it has remained one of the rarest specimens in the game.
Weaknesses and Type of Armored Mewtwo
Like its classic version, Armored Mewtwo belongs to the Psychic type. However, unlike regular Mewtwo, which focuses on attack, the armored version boasts significantly higher defense stats.
The main weaknesses of Armored Mewtwo lie in the following attack types:

To defeat Armored Mewtwo in 5-star raids, it is best to use the following Pokémon:
