It is time to put your Pokémon storages in order. Pokémon Home is preparing for important changes: long-awaited innovations await us in the fall and sad news in the winter.
Classic support and gifts
The Pokémon Company has confirmed that a major update will be released in October. It will add compatibility with the Pokémon Fire Red and Pokémon Leaf Green game versions for Nintendo Switch. In addition, a pleasant bonus awaits players:
- For collecting the complete Pokédex, you will receive the mythical Pokémon Celebi.
- Expanded capabilities for storing your favorites from retro games.
Closing access to Pokémon Bank
Unfortunately, it was not without bad news. Starting in February, Pokémon Home will lose connection with the Pokémon Bank service. Therefore, all trainers are recommended to transfer their Pokémon to modern storage in advance so as not to lose them forever.
