Data Leak at Pokémon Center: Hackers Obtain Information About European Buyers

The official merchandise store Pokémon Center has suffered a customer data leak due to a cyberattack on logistics partner CEVA Logistics.

The official online merchandise store Pokémon Center has encountered an unpleasant incident: as a result of a hacker attack on third-party logistics partner CEVA Logistics, the personal data of European users was leaked online.

What exactly happened?

The cyberattack took place at the end of July 2026 and affected eight CEVA Logistics warehouses in Europe. Because of this, Pokémon Center buyers in the United Kingdom and Germany were affected. In a letter to affected users, the company reported the forced cancellation of a number of recent orders.

According to available information, the attackers may have gained access to the following data:

  • Full names of customers
  • Postal delivery addresses
  • Phone numbers and email addresses
  • Details and history of placed orders

Delays and order cancellations

The Pokémon Center administration posted a warning about possible delays in parcel processing and delivery. The situation is complicated by the fact that the leak occurred in the midst of a large-scale celebration of the Pokémon franchise's 30th anniversary, during which over a hundred exclusive anniversary items are featured in the store.

It is worth noting that due to the attack on CEVA Logistics, other major companies and brands were also affected, including Valve, Dutch retailer Bol, and the football club Ajax.
