New Stars of the Anniversary Expansion

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and International Cat Day, the developers delighted fans with new cards for the upcoming Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration expansion. The main stars of the fresh announcement are crowd favorites — Meowth and its Alolan form.

Features of the New Illustrations

Artists have created wonderful illustrations for the Pokémon with contrasting day and night aesthetics:

• Alolan Meowth by artist Natsumi Yoshida is depicted during an evening walk, while in a rare illustration by OKUBO, it strides confidently late at night.
• Classic Meowth from Kanto enjoys a sunny day in a drawing by MINAMINAMI Take, and in an alternative version by OKUBO, it sleeps sweetly in an urban environment.

As a nice bonus, Galarian Meowth can be found hiding in the background of some drawings. The global release of the festive expansion Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration is scheduled for September 16, 2026!
