As part of this collaboration, a special plush Pikachu toy was sent to the International Space Station (ISS). The iconic Pokémon spent a total of 67 days in open space — from April 11 to June 27, 2026.

During this time, the space traveler completed 1,040 orbits around the Earth. This initiative is designed to popularize science and space exploration among fans of the Pokémon franchise worldwide.
