Studio Paper Cat Games has officially announced plans to release its detective games on Nintendo consoles. The detective visual novel Paper Perjury will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in 2027, and its full sequel — Paper Perjury 2: Shadow of Justice — will be released exclusively on Switch 2 in 2028.

The original game, released in 2024 and inspired by classics like Ace Attorney, will arrive on consoles in a complete edition. The version for Switch and Switch 2 will include both the base cases and all DLC stories chronicling protagonist Justina's journey from a regular police clerk to a real detective.
A Dark New Chapter in Paper Perjury 2
The events of the sequel Shadow of Justice will take place directly after the events of the first game's expansions. This time, the story will turn darker: Justina will have to confront corruption within the Azure City police department while pursuing an elusive masked serial thief.
