Nintendo has officially announced a new physical edition of Pokémon Legends: Z-A for the next-generation Nintendo Switch 2 console. The bundle is titled Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension.
All on One Cartridge
There is great news for physical media collectors: the base game and the major expansion Mega Dimension will be fully included on a single cartridge with no additional download required. In addition, buyers of the edition will receive a promo code for a Mystery Gift with 100 Ultra Balls.
Compatibility with the Original Switch
An interesting feature is backward compatibility: the Switch 2 version cartridge can also be run on the original Nintendo Switch console. However, in that case, the game will run in standard mode without the graphical and technical enhancements of the new platform.
- Release date: October 29
- Platforms: Nintendo Switch 2 (with support for the original Switch)
- Package contents: base game + Mega Dimension DLC on cartridge, bonus code for 100 Ultra Balls
