Expansion of Nintendo's Official Support
Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo eShop digital storefront and the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service will officially begin operations in the Philippines on November 10, 2026. The services will be available both to owners of the original Nintendo Switch console and to users of the new Nintendo Switch 2.
What Will Users Get?
Thanks to the launch of the Nintendo eShop, players in the region will be able to conveniently purchase and download video games, buy downloadable content (DLC), and directly subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online.
A Nintendo Switch Online membership will grant local players access to a full range of features:
- Online multiplayer for competitive and cooperative games;
- Access to a classic library of retro games from past Nintendo systems;
- Cloud save progress (Save Data Cloud);
- Exclusive titles and special offers for subscribers.
The official arrival of the company's services will significantly simplify platform interaction for the Philippine gaming community.
