Streaming giant Netflix has announced a large-scale partnership with SEGA. As part of the collaboration, several adaptations of iconic gaming franchises are planned.
New Sonic series and Crazy Taxi film adaptation
Among the main announcements are a new animated series set in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, as well as a feature film based on the arcade classic Crazy Taxi. In addition, the parties plan to work together on an adaptation of the project Stranger Than Heaven.
Who is working on the projects
- The screenwriters for the Crazy Taxi film will be Dan Gregor and Doug Mand.
- The film will be produced by Neal H. Moritz and Toby Ascher from Original Film, as well as Toru Nakahara from SEGA.
