Minecraft Dungeons 2 gets a new gameplay trailer and release date

Return to the Dungeons in the Minecraft Universe

Mojang Studios, in collaboration with developers from Double Eleven, has released a fresh gameplay trailer for the upcoming action RPG Minecraft Dungeons 2. The game is a direct sequel to the 2020 hit and promises even more dynamic battles, an expanded gear system, and new locations to explore.

Release Date and Platforms

The new installment in the series will be released on September 29. The game will be available for owners of the original Nintendo Switch as well as the next-generation platform — Nintendo Switch 2.

Players can expect:

• An updated combat system with new weapon and artifact combinations;
• Diverse dungeons with unique procedurally generated challenges;
