LEGO Harry Potter Collection to Release on Switch 2 in October 2026

The LEGO Harry Potter Collection will get a Switch 2 version in October 2026. Both digital and physical editions are expected.

The LEGO Harry Potter Collection, which was previously released on the original hybrid console, will seemingly receive a separate native re-release for its successor — the Switch 2.

Switch 2 Release Details

The game's page recently appeared in the catalog of retailer Video Games Plus. According to the leak, the project's release is scheduled for October 16, 2026.

Players will be offered both digital and physical editions. However, it is worth noting that the physical copy will seemingly come in a Game-Key Card format.

What is included in the collection?

The LEGO Harry Potter Collection brings together updated versions of two well-known games in the series:

  • LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4;
  • LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7.

The collection covers all the years of the young wizard's studies at Hogwarts, offering signature LEGO humor, puzzles, magical duels, and potion making.

Currently, there are no official details regarding graphical or technical improvements for Switch 2 (although higher resolution and a more stable framerate are expected), nor regarding a possible upgrade program for owners of the game on the current generation of Switch.
