The game Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad, developed by Fogo Games studio and published by Nuntius Games, is preparing for release on Nintendo Switch on August 27. This is a dynamic top-down action game that tells the story of a zombie apocalypse on the streets of Brazilian neighborhoods.
Real street art as the foundation of the game
Despite the gloomy theme of the end of the world, the developers decided to create a bright and positive game. One of the main features is the use of real street art — graffiti, which acts as a key progression mechanic. According to Rafael Assunção, art producer at Fogo Games, the team wanted to show Brazilian realities in the media: "Our neighborhood can also be a setting for a game and deserves to be seen."

The combat music is inspired by the first generation of Brazilian funk of the 1990s. The synthesized sound perfectly emphasizes the atmosphere of street dances and harmoniously fits into the aesthetics of video game music.
