Studio 7Levels has officially released the action-adventure game Kong: Survivor Instinct on the Nintendo Switch hybrid console. The game is already available both digitally on the Nintendo eShop and on physical cartridges from publisher Meridiem Games.
Survival in the Monsterverse
The game takes place in the Monsterverse shortly after the film "Godzilla vs. Kong". A sudden attack by giant Titans turns a thriving metropolis into burning ruins. The protagonist—an oil rig worker named David—embarks on a dangerous journey through the ruined city to find and rescue his daughter Stacy.
Gameplay Features
- 2.5D Metroidvania: A combination of dynamic platforming, challenging combat, and exploration of half-ruined locations.
- Monarch Technology: Using the ORCA Σ device, players can manipulate the behavior of giant monsters and utilize their strength to overcome obstacles.
