House House studio does not plan additional content for the game Big Walk

Developers of the hit cooperative game Big Walk from the House House studio have confirmed that they do not plan to release new content, as the team needs a rest.

No plans for post-release content

The game Big Walk has become a real hit in recent weeks, attracting over a million players to joint walks and communication. Given such popularity, many wondered: what is next? Unfortunately for fans, during a recent AMA session on Reddit, developers from the House House studio confirmed that there are no plans for new content for the game.

"We have no plans for new content, but I will say that we have played hide and seek among ourselves with great success! We hope the game world is big enough for you to create your own games inside it," the creators shared. "Development took a lot of time and effort. We need a good rest before we start thinking about what is next."

Features of Big Walk on Nintendo Switch 2

Big Walk supports from 2 to 12 players and offers to embark on a joint adventure through wild thickets inspired by Wilsons Promontory National Park in Australia. The game supports crossplay between PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Among the main features of the project:

  • Communication: A spatial voice chat system with echo and walkie-talkies.
  • Freedom of movement: Exploring the open world at your own pace using gestures.
  • Tools and toys: Walkie-talkies, laser pointers, binoculars, megaphones, and even a giant golden head.
  • Flexibility: The ability to play as a focused co-op or create absolute chaos in a group of up to 12 people.
  • A true ending: This is a handcrafted adventure that you need to complete from beginning to end together with friends.
