Studio Yliader and publisher RAWRLAB Games have announced the release date for the horror adventure Beyond The Mist on the hybrid console Nintendo Switch. The project will become available to players on November 19, 2026.
A Return to Classic Game Boy Aesthetics
The game is a large-scale reimagining and expanded version of the retro horror The Mist, which was originally created in the Game Boy style and released on the itch.io platform. The updated version offers authentic 8-bit graphics, stylized backgrounds in Super Game Boy (SGB) format, and an art and soundtrack gallery.
Secrets of the Cursed Lighthouse
In Beyond The Mist, players will take on the role of Arthur Webb—an elderly caretaker sent to spend the winter at an isolated lighthouse. Routine daily work quickly turns into a test of survival as troubling dreams and mystical events begin tormenting the hero every night.
Key features of the project:

- Exploration and puzzles: careful search for items, unraveling the mysteries of the lighthouse, and utilizing the environment.
