In Pokémon Pokopia, the Halloween season is approaching, and with it comes a new themed event titled Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises. The event will run from October 17 to November 1, 2026, local time.
How to Prank Pokémon and Collect Candies
During the event, the pumpkin Pokémon Pumpkaboo will be waiting for players near restored Pokémon Centers. By befriending it, you will be able to start hunting for pumpkin sweets.
To collect treats, you will need a special technique:
- Master the Camouflage move from Zorua at the Bleak Beach location;
- Disguise yourself as various environmental objects;
- Suddenly startle and prank other Pokémon to receive pumpkin candies as a reward.
Themed Furniture and Gourgeist Evolution
The collected sweets can be exchanged at the Pokémon Center for exclusive spooky furniture and festive decor. Using these items, you can create the perfect environment to attract Pumpkaboo's evolution — Gourgeist. Both Pokémon will remain living in your town even after the celebration concludes.
