Epic Games has presented an overview trailer for the Battle Pass of the upcoming season Fortnite: Chapter 7 Season 4 — Override, scheduled for release on August 20, 2026.

In the new season, Jonesy embarks on a journey through a series of alternate realities. To stop Geno and regain control of the Island, iconic characters from the gaming industry join the battle.
Among the new Battle Pass heroes, players will notice many familiar faces:
- Sonic and his friends;
- Joker from Persona 5;
- Mega Man;
- Crash Bandicoot and many others.
The update will become available to players on all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch family of consoles, this week.
