Developers from Datadyne LLC, together with publisher Deck13 Spotlight, have announced the release window for their pixel-art JRPG Forge of the Fae. The game will become available to players in March 2027 on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and to mark the occasion, the developers shared a new trailer.
A Journey into Celtic Myths
Forge of the Fae has been in development for over five years. The project's story is inspired by 19th-century Ireland and Celtic folklore. Players will take on the role of a girl named Fiora, who sets out with her friends to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances. Players' decisions will affect the progression of the story, and childhood tales about the magical fae folk become a grim reality in this adventure.
Game Features:
- Classic turn-based combat system: strategic battles using the "ARC Crystal" mechanic for spell customization and the "Adrenaline" gauge.
- Exploration and puzzles: a world filled with secrets, side quests, and environmental puzzles.
