The Black Razor Records label, in collaboration with Wired Productions and Glee-Cheese Studio, has presented the first two tracks from the official soundtrack of the upcoming rhythm adventure MR. RECORDS — "Power of Imagination" and "The Sausage Blues". Both tracks, created by composers Charles Bardin and Valentin Ducloux, are already available on streaming platforms alongside lyric videos showcasing the process of their creation.
A Musical Journey Across Genres
These songs are the first glimpse into an extensive soundtrack featuring over 70 original tracks. The music in the game spans a wide variety of genres: from funk and progressive rock to hip-hop, electronica, ethnic motifs, and 80s pop.
- "Power of Imagination" — the game's opening theme that accompanies players as they learn the mechanics of jumping and striking to the beat of the music. It sets the tone for the rich imagination of the protagonist, George.
- "The Sausage Blues" — a fun and heartwarming track about George's father, Roger the butcher, who worried one day that he wouldn't have enough sausages for all his customers.
What MR. RECORDS Is About
MR. RECORDS is a cozy rhythm adventure in which players manage a small vinyl record store by day and plunge into surreal musical worlds by night. The main character, elderly dreamer George, possesses an extraordinary gift of traveling through music and tries to fulfill a lifelong dream alongside his loyal dog, Buzz.
Players can look forward to more than 40 rhythm-platformer levels, handcrafted for each individual track. The game is scheduled for release on Switch 2 in the future.
