Classic Minifigures Finally in the World of Super Mario
The LEGO Group has announced a new lineup of sets based on the Super Mario universe, scheduled for release in 2027. The main and most anticipated change is the transition to traditional character minifigures instead of the electronic interactive models used in previous releases of the series.
What Will Be Included in the New Series
A total of 8 different sets are being prepared for release, including:
- Mario’s Pipe Jump
- Racing with Mario
- Mario’s Beach Adventures
- Luigi & Bowser Jr.’s Race
The new format will allow collectors and fans of the Mushroom Kingdom to get classic figures of Mario, Luigi, Bowser Jr., Yoshi, and other heroes in the familiar LEGO style.
