Outstanding Achievement for the Cult JRPG Series
Nihon Falcom has announced a new record for its flagship franchise: total worldwide sales of the Trails (The Legend of Heroes) series have officially surpassed the 10 million copies mark. This is a significant leap for the series, whose popularity continues to grow steadily around the globe.
New Momentum Thanks to a Fresh Remake
A major contribution to achieving this milestone was made by the recent release of Trails in the Sky the 1st — a full-fledged 3D remake of the legendary first entry, released on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles.
The updated version offers players:
- Fully revamped 3D graphics of the Kingdom of Liberl and modernized designs for Estelle, Joshua, and other characters;
- A seamless transition between real-time field battles and tactical turn-based combat;
- Dynamic special attacks (Crafts) and elemental magic (Arts);
- A large number of side quests and enhanced gameplay.
The story of Estelle and Joshua's adventures in search of their missing father continues to win the hearts of both longtime fans and newcomers on modern Nintendo consoles.
