Football legends join the ranks of EA SPORTS FC 27
EA SPORTS has officially unveiled a new set of ICONs — the Class of ’27 ICONs, who will appear in the football simulator EA SPORTS FC 27. The list of legends includes prominent male and female footballers who have left a significant mark on the history of world sports.
Among the newcomers to the ICONs class are Sergio Agüero, Pepe, Christine Sinclair, as well as Lúcio and Yaya Touré, who previously held Heroes status and have now been officially upgraded to ICONs.

- Raphaël Varane
- Karl-Heinz Rummenigge
- Christine Sinclair
- Formiga
- Hege Riise
- Yūki Nagasato
- Tobin Heath
- Ellen White
Legends such as Zinedine Zidane, Ruud Gullit, Fernando Torres, Gianluca Zambrotta, Andrea Pirlo, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Lúcio, and Yaya Touré will also return to the game.
Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Plus Edition by August 31 will receive a special International ICON Player Pack with an 85+ OVR rating for the Football Ultimate Team mode.
