Last Halloween with the Iconic Killer Doll
Studio Behaviour Interactive has made an unfortunate announcement for fans of the asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight, available among other platforms on Nintendo Switch. As early as November, the chapter dedicated to the famous Chucky doll (Chucky Chapter) will be permanently removed from sale.
What Does This Mean for Players?
Fans have only a few weeks left to decide whether they want to add the iconic killer to their content collection:
- After the chapter is removed, it will be impossible to purchase the DLC or Chucky cosmetic items.
- Players who already own the character or purchase him before the removal will be able to continue playing as him without any restrictions.
The developers have not specified the exact legal reasons, but similar situations in Dead by Daylight are traditionally linked to the expiration of licensing agreements with franchise rights holders.
